Anchor Fabrics provides a 7 day return allowance for many of its products. (Please see non-refundable Items below for clarification of permitted returnable products) All fabrics and products are double checked at the warehouse prior to shipping; however it is your responsibility to inspect fabric for flaws, accuracy of the pattern, colour and the face of the fabric prior to processing as well as any concealed damaged to products that may have occurred during shipping.
Please read the following categories carefully. Shipping fee's are non-refundable.
Anchor Fabrics will not accept returns on any of its Fabric or Textile materials.
Once Fabrics and Textile materials are cut or processed in any way from the original bulk manufacturer roll or bolt it is considered non-refundable. All fabrics, bindings, webbing, straps, bungee/shock cord, coil zippers are manufactured on large spools and are considered non-refundable. If we sell it by the yard or foot then it is cut from a larger spool.

We offer fabric samples which can be ordered online to assist you in choosing the right fabric for your project.
If any of these items are returned to us there will be no credit given. No exception will be made to this policy.
If you choose to cancel your order, please contact our customer service department at 905-535-4044 immediately and we will try and locate your order. If your order has been marked shipped and picked up by the shipping company, it cannot be cancelled. Once the shipping company has taken possession of your order, it cannot be cancelled.
There will be an additional charge if the order is refused. Please see “Refused Orders” below.
Should you refuse to accept delivery of your order at the time of its arrival, It will be returned to us by the shipping company. The shipping company will charge us a fee for the cost to ship it back to us. You will receive a credit for product that is allowed to be returned minus any shipping costs incurred by Anchor Fabrics along with a 30% processing and handling charge. Once we have received the refused order back from the shipping company and it is examined by our Returns Department, we will issue a credit to your original form of purchase. No credit will be issued for any fabric or textile product refused and returned to us for non-acceptance. No credit will be issued for Shipping Fees. You will be charged the addition Shipping Fee to send it back to us.
If you purchased your product from Anchor Fabrics and you would like to return it, follow these simple steps:
- Contact Anchor Fabrics Customer Support on the websites Contact Us page and complete the form to receive a Return Authorization Number. A return confirmation email will be sent to you with Return Authorization Number.
- Safely package all components/products that were included in original order in a shipping box and arrange shipping. Purchaser is responsible for all shipping and duty charges. It is advisable to ship with a tracking number to ensure that the return gets to us. Ensure product is carefully packaged (its original packaging materials are best) in order to avoid damage during shipping. Products returned in damaged condition may receive partial credit at the discretion of Anchor Fabrics.
- A return will not be accepted without prior authorization. Your returned product must have an Anchor Fabrics Return Authorization Number clearly written on the package. Returns shipped to us without a Return Authorization will not be accepted and will be returned to sender. Returns must be received within 15 days of the date of purchase. A 25% processing and handling charge will be applied prior to crediting your original form of purchase. No credit will be issued for any fabric or textile product refused and returned to us for non-acceptance. No credit will be issued for shipping fees.
- Once product is received by Anchor Fabrics a refund will be issued within 10 business days or as soon as any additional shipping charges have been determined. Any charges incurred will be deducted from the total refund. Products that qualify for return must be resalable and in an unused like new condition. No credit will be issued for any fabric or textile product refused and returned to us for non-acceptance. No credit will be issued for any used or damaged items.
All packages shipped from our facility are packaged to ensure safe undamaged delivery to you. However sometimes your package goes through a lot to get to you being transferred from and to several trucks and delivery drivers. If an order is received with clear damage to the outside of the package, you MUST indicate the damage immediately on the Shipping Documents and a Damage Report must be completed with the shipper.
Please ensure a description of the damage is written on the Shipping Documents. An example of this could be (the corner of cardboard box is crushed or plastic has been ripped and fabric exposed causing grease stain). Just write what you see.
Please take a picture to show the damage to us.
Contact us immediately to advise us of this damage. We will follow up with the shipping company on your behalf and facilitate the credit from the shipping company for the damaged goods. Please retain all damaged shipping materials. A representative from the shipping company may return to the shipping address to help facilitate the claim. A claim cannot be made without the original proof of damage. We may require digital images of the damage to expedite your claim.
If an item is damaged inside of an undamaged shipping package, please contact us and advise us immediately. We require the damaged item to be returned and a replacement will be shipped to you at no charge. A Return Authorization Number will be given to return the damaged item to an address we will provide to you.
Do not refuse the order or return to us without getting a Return Authorization number.
